With the completion of Sunday's regular-season finale, Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green has now played in all 82 games (all starts) in consecutive NBA seasons.
Dating back to February 2023, the 23-year-old has now started 186 consecutive games, representing the third-longest active streak in the NBA.
On Sunday, head coach Ime Udoka was asked about Green's ongoing streak and its implications for the team, and he offered considerable praise. Among Udoka's comments:
Huge accomplishment. Especially nowadays, when guys will sit out for pretty much anything. I think the fact that he wants to play in every game and play through everything, it does rub off on everybody.
