LSU baseball lost its second SEC series of the year on Saturday night as the Tigers dropped game two in Auburn. Now, LSU will look to salvage the series and avoid a sweep with a win on Sunday.
The lineup continued to struggle. LSU only scored two runs, while Derek Curiel, Jared Jones, and Steven Milam went a combined 2-14 at the top of the order. Anthony Eyanson pitched five innings and allowed four earned runs.
Jay Johnson's squad entered the series on a nine-game win streak, but a scorching hot Auburn stunted the momentum. If LSU loses, it will be the first time LSU gets swept this year.
