How much cap space do the Commanders have left in 2025?

COMMANDERS

Commanders Wire

The Washington Commanders have been busy since free agency opened two weeks ago. While Washington didn't go crazy shopping for some of free agency's supposed top players, it was active, especially in the trade market.

The Commanders traded for former Pro Bowl wide receiver Deebo Samuel and five-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil. Those moves fill two of Washington's biggest holes, with Samuel stepping in as a No. 2 receiver opposite Terry McLaurin and Tunsil protecting superstar quarterback Jayden Daniels.

As far as signing external free agents, general manager Adam Peters used a similar approach from last year, signing and re-signing veterans to cheaper one-year deals.
