Created with the intent of hosting major championships, PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., is a bear — literally. Originally designed by George and Tom Fazio, Jack Nicklaus — The Golden Bear — gave it a redesign in 1990, introducing the treacherous “Bear Trap” of holes Nos. 15-17.
