As much as seeing their bronze busts will mean to the new members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame when they're revealed Saturday, the more sentimental ceremony will be Thursday night.
That is when the 2016 Hall of Fame class will receive their iconic gold jackets. While the busts remain in Canton for the players to be immortalized for visitors, the jackets will leave with those honored.
“It’s bigger than me,” former Bills receiver Andre Reed said of the gold jacket following his enshrinement in 2014. “It’s just a piece of cloth, but it’s a special piece of cloth that the greatest in the game get to wear.
