Hideki Matsuyama parred the fourth playoff hole at TPC Scottsdale on Sunday to beat Rickie Fowler at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
Two of the game's best young talents squared off in a battle of will and Matsuyama finally won the duel when Fowler hit it in the water on the 17th hole for the second time Sunday.

Fowler's first water ball occurred in regulation when he stepped to the tee with a two-shot lead. Fowler hit his drive right down the middle but it skipped over the green into the water.
