Before he began racing in NASCAR’s Xfinity Series (the Busch Series back then), Earnhardt worked at his father’s Chevrolet dealership near Charlotte. While cutting his teeth racing on Carolina short tracks — just like his famous father and grandfather — Earnhardt changed oil at the dealership.
