Henry Ruggs III was traveling 156 mph before the crash early Tuesday morning that left one person dead, prosecutor Eric Bauman said during Ruggs' first court appearance in the case on Wednesday, per Katelyn Newberg of the Review-Journal.
Bauman said the former Las Vegas Raiders receiver also had a blood alcohol level of .161, which is more than twice the legal limit, and was in possession of a firearm, per Hector Mejia of 8News.
