Lara Gut's victory Sunday spoiled Lindsey Vonn's perfect record in the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup super-G in the Bavarian resort of Garmisch Partenkirchen.
Vonn had dominated the discipline this season with wins in three consecutive races and sought to become the first skier to win four in a row at the start of the World Cup.

She could not match Sunday's supreme run of Gut, and finished third as Germany's Viktoria Rebensburg snatched second with a sensational run.
With four super-G races remaining this season, Gut now trails Vonn by 99 points, with 400 available.
