Varela has been on loan with Frankfurt this season, but has struggled with injuries. He’s had a good run of form lately, though. Frankfurt seemed interested in turning his loan from Manchester United into a permanent deal. Then he violated his manager’s instructions not to get a tattoo.

Now, the club decided they won’t make Varela’s loan permanent, basically telling him to get out.
