The majority of sports video games are released within the August-October window every year. Because of where they land, Black Friday often delivers the first chance to get the games at a considerable discount, with most being found for 50 percent off or more from their original retail prices.
With the exception of MLB, these sports are still in-season, and the value is never higher than at the point in time when the deals roll out.
