Greg Biffle didn't witness the accident that caused Tony Stewart to break his back, but he was part of Stewart's group riding off-road vehicles in the sand dunes of Southern California when the accident occurred Sunday.
"We were kind of all riding as a group," Biffle told Sirius XM Radio on Wednesday, via USA Today Sports. "We started kind of hearing bits and pieces that he hurt his back. That's all we knew."
