The New England Revolution are poised to part ways with captain Jose Goncalves, with the club announcing Monday that the 2013 MLS Defender of the Year's contract is set to expire at year's end.
Defender Darrius Barnes and midfielders Daigo Kobayashi and Gershon Koffie also possess expiring contracts and have not agreed to new deals with the Revolution. In addition, the club has declined 2017 options for defender Jordan McCrary and midfielder Steve Neumann.
The Revolution were joined by New York City FC and the New York Red Bulls in making roster announcements Monday, with the MLS offseason set to officially begin Dec.
