Glen Rice Jr. charged with robbery, assault; police say he fled scene with guns

Former NBA and college basketball guard Glen Rice Jr. — the son of the former All-Star and 15-year NBA veteran — was arrested this week in suburban Atlanta after allegedly assaulting a former Tulane basketball player and fleeing the scene with two bags, in which police say they found an AK-47 assault rifle and a .38-caliber pistol, TMZ Sports reported, citing a police report.

According to the report, a witness said the former Georgia Tech star punched Jordan Callahan, the former Tulane player, breaking his jaw and knocking out a tooth. Rice then grabbed two bags from the white Porsche the two had been in and fled.
