Gibbons slips up and looks like a boob with 'dresses' comment

With the implementation of any new rule, there is bound to be a learning curve. When dealing with that, there is a right way to deal with it and a wrong way.

Blue Jays manager John Gibbons exemplified the wrong way Tuesday night, after his team dropped a 3-2 decision to the Rays on a replay review that showed Jose Bautista, attempting to break up a double play, came off second base and grabbed the foot of Rays second baseman Logan Forsythe.

The relay throw by Forsythe was well wide of first base, allowing the tying and go-ahead runs to score until the video review showed Bautista’s violation of Rule 6.
