Despite the impression some personnel gave publicly Sunday, outgoing quarterback Daniel Jones was the source of some exasperation within the New York Giants, according to The MMQB's Albert Breer.
Breer reported that "there was quite a bit of frustration with Jones from players and coaches before his release, with how hesitant he was to pull the trigger and for all the throws he missed."
The Giants lost 30-7 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their first game after announcing they're moving on from Jones. Tommy DeVito, who started at quarterback, went 21-of-31 for 189 yards.
