The New York Giants worked out veteran quarterback C.J. Beathard on Monday, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Dan Duggan of The Athletic reported that his understanding was Monday's meeting between the two parties was "just a standard workout for an emergency short list. Don't think there's anything going on with the Giants' quarterbacks that prompted this and no signing of Beathard is expected."
