Giants reportedly worried TE Larry Donnell might not play again

After seeing first-hand what neck injuries did to linebacker Antonio Pierce and running back David Wilson, the Giants are concerned tight end Larry Donnell could also face early retirement.

Donnell missed the final eight games last season dealing with a neck issue. He claimed that he felt no pain, but his MRI exam did not come back clean, according to the New York Post.

“Hopefully he’ll be able to continue to play,’’ general manager Jerry Reese said via the Post.
