The Giants acquired starting pitcher Matt Moore from the Rays on Monday before the trade deadline.
According to reports, Giants third baseman Matt Duffy, who was in the running for MLB Rookie of the Year last season, is one of the players heading to Tampa Bay in the deal. Duffy is hitting .253 with four home runs and 21 RBIs in an injury-plagued season.

The Giants added All-Star Eduardo Nunez last week in a trade from the Twins. He will now be the everyday third baseman.
