Giants' Josh Brown says he never struck his wife, 'and never would'

Josh Brown has finally spoken out after he was placed on the commissioner's exempt list for domestic violence against his ex-wife.

Via Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Giants kicker released a statement, saying he was "sorry that (his) past has called into question the character or integrity of The New York Giants, Mr. Mara or any of those who have supported (him)" and that he has "never struck my wife, and never would."

Brown's statement comes nearly two weeks after journals and emails were turned over to police by Brown's ex-wife, Molly.
