Giants' Daniel Jones Cleared for Training Camp in Return from Surgery on Knee Injury

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones appears to be fully recovered from the torn ACL that prematurely ended his 2023 season.

Head coach Brian Daboll announced on Wednesday that Jones is "getting all the reps" with the starting unit in training camp after being medically cleared for 11-on-11 drills.

Injuries have affected Jones throughout his six-season career.

A high ankle sprain in his rookie year led to two missed games in 2019. A right hamstring and a right ankle sprain forced him to miss a game apiece for each ailment in 2020.

Then a far more serious injury occurred in 2021, when Jones suffered a season-ending neck ailment that cut his season short after 11 games.
