Giants, Chargers and Seahawks top candidates for Eugene Monroe, report says

The Ravens couldn't find a trade partner for Eugene Monroe, which means the former first-round draft pick will test free agency after being released Wednesday.

Monroe's release will save the Ravens $6.5 million against the salary cap.

According to ESPN, the Ravens and Giants were in trade talks but ultimately couldn't reach a decision. New York didn't want to trade someone in addition to taking Monroe's contract.
