Each week, Sporting News will run down five of the biggest stories in the world of professional wrestling .

SmackDown going live, brand split coming

Big news with the WWE announcing that SmackDown will be moving to Tuesday nights and go live each week beginning July 19.

That also means there will be a brand split between Raw and SmackDown and a draft sometime before then, dishing out talent between the two shows. That show alone — possibly on July 11 — will be must-watch viewing for wrestling fans.

WWE has such a deep roster which makes this a great time to do the split with Roman Reigns likely headlining one brand and John Cena as the top guy on the other.
