Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken doesn’t have to look far to point to a defining moment about his quarterback Stetson Bennett. Monken looks at Dec. 31, when Bennett threw an interception in the playoff semifinal, and Ohio State scored on the following possession to take a 21-7 lead. It was a moment that Monken said would make many people crumble, but Bennett responded by leading Georgia to score 17 straight points and, eventually, the win.
“That just says how he’s wired. He’s wired to forget,” Monken said. “He believes in himself. He believed in himself even when we didn’t.
