Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity on Thursday apologized to the school’s athletic board of directors for the compensation package rapper Ludacris received for performing at the football team’s spring game, the Athens Banner-Herald reported.
Ludacris not only pocketed $65,000 for a 13-minute performance on April 16, the rider on his contract included provisions for liquor, wine, Trojan Magnum condoms, food and other items.
This upset some people.
“Some more than others as far as different age groups,” McGarity said. “It was all over the map. I think there were a lot of things that came into play.
