We'll find out Tony Romo's fate for the rest of 2015 later Friday, but the veteran quarterback re-injured his left collarbone in Thursday's game against the Panthers, the same left collarbone that sidelined him for seven games earlier in the season. The Cowboys went 0-7 in his absence, but rebounded with a win against the Dolphins last week in Romo's return to the starting lineup.
Now 3-8, Dallas' season officially appears to be a wrap, even in the sorry NFC East. But coach Jason Garrett, whose job description probably requires him to live in an alternative reality, isn't giving up, despite what appear to be long odds that Romo will play again this season.
