Former World Cup-winner Gilberto Silva says Brazil’s latest teenage sensation Gabriel Jesus can become a Premier League great.
The 19-year-old Palmeiras striker, who has four goals in four senior international appearances, is set to join Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in January.
And Gilberto Silva, a Premier League-winner with Arsenal who earned more than 90 caps for the Selecao, believes the youngster has everything it takes to succeed in England but must leave some things behind in Brazil.
“I’m really happy for Gabriel Jesus,” Gilberto Silva said.
“It’s important to keep in mind that when he comes to England, he has to be quick to adapt.
