Fulton Walker, the first player to return a kick for a touchdown in the Super Bowl, has died at age 58.
The former Dolphins and Raiders special teams standout died of a heart attack while working at his West Virginia farm, friend Rick Pill told MetroNews.
Walker played defensive back and running back during a standout college career at West Virginia, but his meal ticket was returning kicks. He returned three punts for touchdowns during his time with the Mountaineers, and his potential in the return game was enough to entice the Dolphins into using a sixth-round pick on him in the 1981 NFL Draft.
