As buzz around a potential mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor percolates, Hall of Fame boxing trainer Freddie Roach says he’s been approached by Mayweather about preparing McGregor for the event.
Roach said in an interview with “Inside MMA” that aired Friday on AXS TV that Mayweather showed up last week at his Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, Calif., to ask him to train McGregor.

“There’s a lot of rumors out there and I’m getting constant calls that Conor asked me to train him,” Roach said, per Boxing Scene.
