Fox is reportedly closing in on a deal to broadcast the NFL's Thursday Night Football package in 2018.
While the deal has not been completed, Bloomberg's Scott Soshnick and Lucas Shaw reported Fox "submitted a bid that's higher than the $45 million a game CBS and NBC agreed to pay last year."
Sports Business Journal's John Ourand added that if the agreement is finalized, Fox will air 11 Thursday Night Football games in tandem with NFL Network and a digital partner that has yet to be disclosed.
