Russian athletics, already embroiled in a doping scandal, now faces even more scrutiny as a CBS "60 Minutes" report alleges that four of the country's gold medalists in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics had doped before the Games.
Former Russian anti-doping officer Vitaly Stepanov, who previously blew the whistle on rampant doping on the country's track and field team, tells the news program that the discredited former head of Russia's official drug-testing lab revealed a "Sochi List" of Russians who had competed after using PEDs. Although CBS did not reveal any names on the list in the clip released Friday to the media, Stepanov says four of those athletes won gold medals for host Russia in Sochi.
