Former Yale basketball captain Jack Montague, expelled after a university committee's investigation into a sexual misconduct complaint by a female student in the fall of 2014, has sued the school, Hartford's Fox 61 reported.
According to a statement released with the lawsuit, the unidentified complainant — with whom Montague previously had consensual sex, according to Montague's attorney, Max Stern — didn’t want to file a formal complaint against him.

She did, however, speak to Yale's Title IX committee because she wanted a representative to talk with Montague about what she called a non-consensual incident.
