Former Washington tight end scouts an ideal defensive prospect for Commanders

Former Washington Redskins tight end Logan Paulsen has spotted a prospect he really likes for this year's NFL draft.

UCLA linebacker Kain Medrano, although he played linebacker in college, is someone Paulsen believes is better suited for safety or a big nickel in the NFL.

Friday on the "Take Command" podcast episode played on the "Hoffman Show" afternoon drive (The Team 980), Paulsen expressed, "I don't want to overhype him, but he did well at the combine, tested well, ran a good 40, ran a good three-cone, good vertical jump."

Paulsen continued that Medrano plays a good Will linebacker, and sometimes played on the edge for UCLA.
