Former Oregon State football player Josh Williams, 24, was shot to death Tuesday in Inglewood, Calif., Inglewood police said.
The Daily Breeze of Torrance, Calif., reported officers responded to a call at 5:35 p.m. PT Tuesday and found Williams suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his upper torso. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Williams, a linebacker, joined the Oregon State program out of Salesian High School (Richmond, Calif.) for the 2011 season, and recorded four tackles in four games as a freshman.
