Former Oakland University basketball player injured in Brussels attacks

Former Oakland University basketball center Sebastien Bellin was among the more than 100 people injured in the bombing at the Brussels airport Tuesday morning.

According to the Detroit Free Press, Oakland coach Greg Kampe and assistant Saddi Washington were contacted after a photo appeared on the internet of Bellin, 37, lying bloodied at the airport. After calling Belgium to find out Bellin's status, school officials was told the former player was at the airport counter, checking in for a flight, about 100 yards from one of the blasts.
