Randall Cunningham, a former Pro Bowl quarterback whose greatest plays are still the stuff of legend, may no longer have bragging rights as the best athlete in his own family.
Cunningham's daughter, Vashti Cunningham, is headed for the Rio Olympics after her performance Sunday in the high jump at the Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore. The 18-year-old Cunningham finished second to Chaunté Lowe in the high jump to make the team and in the process become the youngest U.S. Olympian in track and field since 1980.
