George Yarno, who spent 12 seasons as a professional football player and another 24 as a coach, died Monday at the age of 58.
Yarno was diagnosed with stage IV abdominal cancer in May 2014, but continued to work that year as the offensive line coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Tony Khan, the son of Jaguars owner Shahid Khan and the Jaguars' senior vice president of football technology and analytics, tweeted the news of Yarno's death Monday night.
We've lost a great man. George Yarno loved coaching football; we were blessed to have worked with him.
