Daryn Colledge had bigger plans in mind when he walked away from football last year.
The former NFL guard on Tuesday announced that he has enlisted in the United States Army National Guard.

"After a year of retirement, a much needed vacation, and overdue time with my family, I've decided to hit the free agent market," Colledge wrote, in part, in a statement on Twitter.
