The Philippine Basketball Association lacks a vetting process on discipline, apparently.
Former Atlanta Hawk Ivan Johnson was banned from the PBA on Saturday for “addressing the Commissioner with profanities and showing utter disrespect for authority,” the league said in a statement. Johnson was thrown out of a game for committing a technical and flagrant one foul in the first half in the Talk N' Text Tropang Texters' game against Meralco, then cursed out commissioner Chito Narvasa.
Johnson was banned during that game by Narvasa. He was fined 250,000 pesos, or $13,221.08.

The fines that I've gotten have never been issued out to nobody.
