Florida State defense dealt blow with loss of safety Nate Andrews for season

Seminoles coach Jimbo Fisher said Tuesday senior safety Nate Andrews is out for the rest of the year with a torn pectoral muscle.

The injury occurred during FSU's 20-19 win over Miami (Fla.) on Saturday.

The 14th-ranked Seminoles (4-2, 1-2 ACC) were already thin in the secondary with safety Derwin James still recuperating from knee surgery last month.

Andrews started one game as a true freshman in 2013 and has played in 45 games in his career.
