UFC lightweight contender Kevin Lee scored his biggest win to date as he submitted fellow top 15 155-pounder Michael Chiesa in the first round of the UFC Oklahoma City main event bout.
The win, however, was not without controversy.
After taking Chiesa’s early in the round, Lee pounded his opponent with elbows before sinking his arm under Chiesa’s chin for the choke. Before Lee could fully put Chiesa away, referee Mario Yamasaki stepped in and put an end to the action.
