Sepp Blatter's replacement as president of world soccer's governing body could come Friday, ending a week in which top candidates for his job make their final appeals.
Blatter, 79, made his last push to clear his name on Feb. 16. He and heir apparent Michel Platini are seeking exoneration from eight-year bans ordered by FIFA for breaches of its code of ethics.
