Martin Truex Jr. didn't take the track in qualifications for the 2016 Daytona 500. But that doesn't mean he won't race on Feb. 21.
Unable to repair a roof flap problem in time for Sunday's qualifications at Daytona, Truex missed his opportunity to turn laps in time trials against 43 other drivers.
