Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs is dealing with a hamstring injury, though he is expected to return to practice next week and it doesn't sound as though he'll miss any time to start the 2024 regular season.
"He's trending the right way," head coach Dan Campbell told reporters Tuesday. "Wish we had more practice with him, but as far as the health of it, he is healing and he's on schedule to be back and get his legs back under him and we'll see where he's at."
Gibbs, 22, had a fantastic rookie season, rushing for 945 yards and 10 touchdowns while adding 52 catches for 316 yards and a score.
