NBA insider Shams Charania, a known brand ambassador for FanDuel, reported that G League Ignite star Scott Henderson was “gaining serious momentum” to become the No. 2 pick for the Hornets just hours prior to the start of Thursday’s NBA draft.
That rumor never materialized, as Charlotte instead selected former Alabama standout Brandon Miller with the second pick.
