Nick Kasa played football at Broomfield Legacy High School in Colorado before playing four years at the Colorado University. In 2013, he was drafted in the sixth round by the Oakland Raiders. He played all 16 games his rookie year, but only caught one pass -- it was a touchdown in Week 17 against his hometown Broncos.
Kasa then missed all of 2014 with a torn ACL and was cut by Oakland in May of 2015 after failing a physical. Until this week, he'd been out of football altogether. Kasa was at the AFC title game last week when he received a call from the Denver Broncos.
