Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins confirmed that he'll be able to start under center once the regular season begins.

"I'll be ready to go Week 1," Cousins said during the team's preseason clash with the Miami Dolphins on Friday, via Grant Gordon of NFL.com. "I've been going full speed now for all of camp, just getting better every week."

The 35-year-old's 2023 season with the Minnesota Vikings was cut short after he suffered a season-ending torn Achilles in Week 8. In March, Cousins joined the Falcons in free agency after signing a four-year contract worth $180 million.
