(Reuters) - Former San Francisco 49ers football player Ray McDonald was indicted this week by a grand jury on one count of rape of an intoxicated person, the Santa Clara County prosecutor's office said on Wednesday.
The indictment stems from a December 2014 incident at the home of McDonald, 30, an eight-year veteran of the National Football League, the district attorney's office said.
