SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Coldplay's Super Bowl 50 halftime performance was fine.
It was very unoffending, un-arresting. It was very "Coldplay." But that's just it. Is that what the NFL is going for? A very OK but uneventful halftime show? Coldplay is not bad. Their performance was not bad. But it was exactly what you expect from a Coldplay performance.
