Tampa Bay’s injury-plagued offensive line has taken another hit.
A source told Sporting News that Bucs center Evan Smith has suffered a sprained medical collateral ligament that may sideline him for at least one game. More information on the severity of the knee injury will be known Monday morning following an MRI exam.

A seven-year NFL veteran, Smith started in place of the injured Joe Hawley (knee). Smith was injured in the first half against the Bears and replaced by Ben Gottschalk, who received his first regular-season action after being promoted Saturday from Tampa Bay’s practice squad.
